Cookie Decorating Class at NWB Naperville

About the In-Person Class!
This class is for the beginner cookie decorator or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! We will be doing a fun Valentine themed set (“We go together like…”) that tastes amazing and will look even better once you’ve completed your decorating! Everything necessary is provided: cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your awesome creations home in – we just need YOU! This class will take place on Monday, February 13th from 6-8pm at Noon Whistle Brewery Tasting Room in Naperville. Come by yourself, bring your Galentine, your main squeeze, or bring the family – we have seating up to 20 people! This class is for participants ages 10+.
Add a Sugar Cookie Class Kit to your Order!
Order an additional sugar cookie class kit and take the class home with you to teach a child or friend, or practice more yourself! Our class kits come with everything you use in class and you will receive a step-by-step PowerPoint (emailed after class) so you can recreate the same designs at home! Sugar Cookie Kits are created before your class and you’ll pick them up and take them with you after class. Price: $30.00 (6 cookies, 4 icing colors, and sprinkles/add ons)

How long can a kit last?
Depending on how you store your icing, your kits can last for a week or longer. Freezing cookies and icing keeps them fresh for a long time, but we recommend using your kit as soon as possible – ideally in the first week after you’ve taken it home.
About the Instructor
Amy Parry is a local mom, music teacher, and cookie decorator in the Naperville/Plainfield/Bolingbrook area! After years of being a classroom music teacher, she became a stay-at-home mama to her beautiful baby girl in 2021. Having always loved decorating sweet treats, she began decorating more and more sugar cookies. Eventually, complete strangers were requesting custom cookie orders, so she decided to turn her cookie hobby into a proper home bakery business, Amy’s Confections, LLC. Now she’s combining her love of teaching and cookies by offering in-person cookie decorating classes! When not busy with mom or cookie duties, you’ll find Amy still pursuing her love of music education directing choirs with the local children’s choir organization Young Naperville Singers and teaching early childhood Music Together classes (also with YNS)!
Do I need to know how to bake?
Nope! We will have delicious cookies pre-made and ready for you along with all the other supplies you’ll need!
What do I need to bring?
Nothing! Everything will be provided for you including our scrumptious sugar cookies. All you need to do is join us and have fun! Messy decorator? Feel free to bring your own apron or just wear easy-to-wash clothing.
